We opened in 1984, a sole-proprietorship, offering a full line of building & remodeling services for the home and office. We service residential, commercial and institutional accounts in Galesburg and the surrounding area, from basic carpentry work to complete design/build projects. We are members of;

We are a fully insured, licensed and bonded building and remodeling contractor and the first "Registered Contractor" in the City of Galesburg, IL., license # GC-001.

As a trained and service oriented company, our emphasis is on understanding the needs and wishes of the client, craftsmanship, attention to detail and customer satisfaction - the first time! Now, as in 1984, we continue to see the need to provide consumers with a reliable, reputable and trained alternative to that ever growing population of unqualified "contractors" who plow snow in the winter, mow lawns in the summer, and attempt carpentry in their spare time. Consumers, spending hard earned money, have needs and concerns when it comes to the care and protection of their largest investment and we feel that those needs are best served by those who are trained, in the know and do building & remodeling full time. We are proud to say that we are a full time, all season, building and remodeling contractor.

From the beginning we have listened to our customers, produced quality projects, and are proud of our reputation of providing for our clients. We constantly strive to improve our record with each new project. As a result, with over 2,700 projects completed, 52% of our clients have asked us back more than once, 32% more than twice and 19% more than five times. We have over 60 clients who have asked us back 10 times or more. We are definitely providing the quality and service consumers expect from a professional contractor.

Today, our business is more focused on residential remodeling with some light commercial and institutional work. A greater emphasis has been placed on kitchen and bathroom remodeling, room additions, whole house remodeling, and historical restorations. We saw the need for our uniquely qualified services in these areas, and our years of experience have prepared us for the challenges. We have remained a manageable firm so we could continue to offer our clients the personal attention and service they deserve. Our staff, with over 90 years of combined service, training and experience in all phases of construction and carpentry, has developed the reliability, craftsmanship and attention to detail that our clients have come to know and appreciate.
